2. What time is it ?
- 1:00 – One o’clock;
- 12:00 - twelve o’clock or Noon se mezzogiorno.
- 4:00 p.m. It’s four in the afternoon.Sono le sedici.
- 6:30 - half past six or thirty minutes till seven ( 30 minuti fin alle sette). Ricordiamo che till è il termine meno formale rispetta ad untill/fino a.
- 10:30 Half past ten. Le 10 e mezza, ma anche thirty minutes untill 11/ 30 minuti fino alle 11.
- 11:30 Half past eleven. Le 11 e 30, ma anche thirty minutes untill 12/mezz’ora fino alle 12.
- It’s half past twelve. Sono le 12:30.
Morning - Mattina dalle 12 della mezzanotte fino alle 12 dell’ora di pranzo. Afternoon - Pomeriggio dalle 12 di mezzogiorno fino al tramonto. Evening - Sera dalle 17:00 fino alle 20:00. Night - dalle 6:00 p.m. fino alla mezzanotte, 12:00 a.m

6.1. DO/DOES
Il verbo do che in italiano significa fare può essere utilizzato anche come ausiliare per la formazione di frasi interrogative e negative. In questo secondo caso si veda la tabella sotto:
